Today is Tuesday, May 4th... Here is my report from yesterday:
Food
Breakfast: Puffed Rice with strawberries and almond milk
Lunch: Leftover veggie orgy casserole
Mid-afternoon: Apple with almond butter
Dinner: We went out to eat with Cousin Patrick and Pal Stacey to Willy Nick's in Katonah. Both Rick and I had what was advertised as "half chicken (free range)". The chicken was as big as maybe two chicken thighs... my guess is that the chicken was running around the range so fast that it lost too much weight.. ANYWAY, it was yummy. It came with mashed potatoes (ate half) and a pile of spinach. Not only was it tasty but also very satisfying.
There was no exercise involved which was just as well because my thigh is still red and hot from the freaking mosquito bites and my upper arm is as well. I apparently have something called "Skeeter Syndrome" i.e. I'm allergic to the little bastards. Dr. Mark told me to eat foods with copper and zinc and he specifically recommended sunflower seeds. I will be adding them to my food intake.
Yeah I'd say it was more "half a Cornish Game Hen" but yep it was a good dinner and great company regardless.
